For all customization, you must enter Dreambook Management (this link will open it in a new window so you can continue reading this as you go). You can enter Management at any time by going to dreambook.com and logging in from the main page. Once you are inside Dreambook management, you must pick the book that you wish to work on. Do this by clicking on its name. Once you are editing a book, you can... Pick from the available templates. ... There may already be a template that suits your needs. Just click on Templates in the command menu and go through the ones that are there and pick one that suits you. Change the colors and add backgrounds. ... If you would like to change any of the colors in your Dreambook, just pick Colors from the management menu. From the Colors section, just select the colors you want and save. These changes will be reflected in all the sections of your book. Add or remove fields from your book. ... Often, people want to find out some different information than the default Dreambook includes. This can be done very easilly. From the main management screen, choose Edit Fields. From the edit fields section, you can add a field with the form at the bottom, or edit any of the fields that already exist. You can choose to have any of the fields be required or not, and you can supply your own default values as well. To make a URL or an email address "clickable", you must add it as a text field, and then switch its type from normal to URL or email address, as needed. This can also be done with any existing fields by simply editting the appropriate field and switching its type. If you were one of our early users, your book may not incorporate this functionality, but you can easilly add it in the manner described above. More Advanced Customization ... Adding a logo or other graphics. ... The customizations described above may not be enough. You may want to add a logo or some custom navigation graphics to make your Dreambook fit in with the rest of your site. This is easy as well! Switch into advanced mode by clicking on the advanced mode graphic. From here, you can go into the Customize Forms section, from which you can edit any of the pages that come up throughout the use of your Dreambook. There is a brief description of each form beside its name. Read through these to determine which one to change to achieve your desired customization. Most people will be interested in changing gbtop to add graphics and titling. Changing the look and feel of the book. ... You can also change the layout of each entry (gbentry), the look of the separator between each entry (gbsep), the overall appearance of the bottom of the book (gbbottom), the page seen after someone has signed your book (signedbook), the sign page itself (signform), and the the top of the guestbook (gbtop).
